I'm Back~

Hello you amazing and inspiring peeps!

Another day has passed and I just wanted to check in again with everyone and keep you all up to date~
Okay, so I connected with another person and now have sort of like a therapist over here who is totally casual, and a friend of the family, and can vent to her. So I was having a hard time last week/this week and so yesterday we both just went to get a cup of tea at starbucks and to talk. It was great, and I feel a lot better after getting everything off my shoulders. She has this adorable daughter who I just love, and they are both very sweet~ I'm happy that they are there for me.

I've been making pixel icons lately, so if you visit my deviantart page here... : www.IpaiFlame.deviantart.com  .... you can see what they look like. ^7^

Today we did a practice AP exam in German, and of course I finished like 15 minutes before anyone else did. (later I found out that almost no one actually finished it..... you see what advantages I have here.) So that was interesting. Also, to learn a bit about the turkish-german relationships, we have been watching a movie called the Doener Connection. It's pretty good. I was working on a german film project with my classmate, and I got this sudden heat wave and my stomach hurt like H E L L. For no reason straight out of no where. It felt like the flu. It got a bit better after a while but it's still hurting a bit. Then my classmate Emilee offered to drive me back to the house, so that was extremely nice of her. After talking to her a bit more, she's a very nice person in general. ^u^ (she's a senior, and people at the age of 16 can start driving, don't forget.) So now I'm back and answering emails. >v<

Also, thank you so extremely much Bobi Wall for planning the meet up in Portland for me, it's just so great and amazing! I couldn't wish for anything more. >u< So YOU in SEATTLE and YOU in PORTLAND, I'm going to be there for a week in the spring break so let me know if you wish to meet up! Arigatou Gozaimasu~

Later. I'm out.

My Feels

Those in my english class back in Germany will recognize the author.

Hi my beautiful cherry blossoms.

I'm sorry about the last post. I was very frustrated, and I feel as if this is the only place I can truly vent about these things. I don't really have anyone I can tell about these things. Not at school or outside....

Sometimes you hit a stopping point in your journey, and all that anger bottled up inside you come out all at once. It's like Pandora's box, you don't want to open it up and release it, because it might hurt someone other than yourself, but you have to eventually if you want to get rid of it. (or you learn the hard way and it opens all by itself.)

Everyone has to learn what their strengths are, and where they lay. You also learn who is truly on your side, and who's with you the whole way. Sometimes you just need to lay low for a while, and observe the world that you live in.

At the moment that's what I've been doing. Just observing. But now's a good time for me to get out there and establish my world. I'm gaining confidence, learning new things, making new friends, starting to become a more developed human being. Everyday is a new day for us to be just a little bit more than we are, and also a bit more of who we are supposed to be.

I've learned that I need to tell people what my problems are around me, instead of keeping them in my pandora's box in my heart.

When you do that, it hurts.

I guess that this post has been inspirational in more than one way, for me and maybe for others.

I know how hard it is to move somewhere different, to start over in a new life, because I have done that several times more than I have liked to. This experience is just preparing me for later when I go to college, or art school or whatever else I choose to do. Every trial makes my fingers rougher, but even more experienced. Everyone will have their ordeals, but after every rain cloud, is a bright future just waiting for you. A bright cherry tree of happiness!

Love you all, and don't ever forget,
in every one of you resides a wonderful

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Happy Chinese New Year!
~year of the snake~

Greetings in the new year my little snakelets!
I don't actually know if that's a word.

How are you all doing? Good I hope! I am doing better than before and haven't had any homesickness attack lately. I've made some great friends and allies, and my artistic passion has reached a new level. (must be the weather.) I got a little piece of home in which my german class decided to celebrate Fasching today! It was nice. The bad news is that I had to drop art for another hour of math tutoring...........
Doesn't mean I'll stop drawing though! (^7^)/
I have been constantly interviewing artists and there are many kind and supporting people who replied and gave me some suggestions! It's great to be part of such a loving community.

So this is going to be a very short post.
The main reason I decided to post today is not only because of Chinese New Year, but because of what I saw on the weekend. So on Friday I left for a camp in the mountains with the family, and we had lots of fun in the snow! (I'll post some pictures later) I went back to Anchorage with my host parents early on Saturday, and we got stuck in traffic for an hour and a half. A car was flipped on the side of the road so it was pretty extreme. It became dark on the way home.
We were driving through a ...town? (I don't even know what to call it. It had stores like target and gas, and some houses..... like a little city...) and we saw this in the sky:

^
I hope you can see it, but it's the little specks in the sky.

We first thought they were stars, but Anne didn't recognize any constellations, and then we got a bit closer, we realized that they were Chinese New Years lanterns! It was so pretty, like a million little lights in the sky~ The moment was truly magical, and I only saw them for a few minutes until we were too far away to see them anymore. Here's an example of what they look like:

There were far too few to be like this, but they were more spread out, and looked beautiful. ^7^
That made my night!

Happy Year of the Snake,

Cranberry

I would also like to make aware of an amazing youtube artist, who is singing "From the Ground Up" an original Minecraft song, that you may have heard on my blog! Her voice is beautiful. if you haven't, go to the top, and skip to that song RIGHT NOW.

GO DO IT.

NOW.

Many Strange Things

Hello my beautiful and frosty snowflakes~

lol Jack Frost is just way too adorubu.

So, I'm just going to be posting a short post today about a few things I noticed and remembered about American culture or just something you don't have where I come from.

First of all, American children must pledge alliegence to the US flag every morning which I find EXTREMELY AWKWARD AND CONFUSING. I mean seriously, yes it's okay to be loyal to your country and all, but really, every morning saying the same thing and facing a flag for 2 minutes? It's like no logic there. It's kind of taking the patrioticness a little too far in my opinion. And it's kinda weird.
Really America? I sort of doubt that many other places do that on a regular basis like the USA.

The other thing is that this week in my high school we have something called 'Spirit Week'. It's a bit like Fasching in my opinion...... and it's around that time too! There is a theme for each day of the week, (for example, today was cowboys, and yesterday was twins day) and you can either dress up, and enter a raffle, or if you don't feel like it, you can just enjoy everyone's costumes and dress normal. I dressed normal because I don't really have that much with me. I think the most I will be able to participate in is Think Pink friday, where I do have a bright pink hoodie. (thats about it though.)

I would also like to openly wish my Oma a happy birthday!
<3 You Oma!

Valentines day is coming up you guys!
Have a boyfriend/girlfriend you're going to spend it with? a special crush?

I don't.

I think I'll eat chocolate and read shoujo all day.

In the manga section.

and cry.

yeah that sounds about right.

Well, I love you guys and thanks for following me~
I promise to fix the comments problem soon!

My Weekends! and other updates

Hey lovelies!

Good to see all of you are enjoying my blog!
Lately I've been getting page views from all over the place, like France, Korea, Canada and even Turkey! It's good to see that this blog is slowly branching out. <3

Okay, so lately, I have not been updating what I've done on the weekends! This blog is dedicated to my missing weekends and fun stuff.
The last few weekends I have visited friends, or gone out and seen more of Anchorage. I have been to our friend's bookstore, and got a library card for me, and have had a brunch with my friends.
Last LAST weekend I was invited to have brunch with our friends, and their neighbors. We all met at the Snow City Cafe and had a great time talking about books, anime, and video games. (or just culture in general.)

I got a delicious Polar Bear Breakfast~ <3

Next, after we all met, and I struck an immidiate bond with the two neighbor kids, we all went down to the mall and walked around. Before I say anything else, I'd simply like to criticize Germany on not having Hot Topic. I still cannot believe I found an LoZ and Adventure Time Marshall Lee t's off of the internet. (Germany, get it before I come back, okay?) That was really awesome! They have all sort of great merch. And for Potato's sake, I found a few Hetalia T's too. ^u^
We went to a little court yard and saw some ice sculptures, which we had lots of fun with.

The Sleeping Lady and I! (that's the name of the mountain behind me.)

We had lots of fun, and this weekend I slept over at their house. They invited the neighbors over, and my friend's brother also had another friend with him. Then my friend Elora invited another friend over, (who is superbly awesome BTW) and we all sat down with some root beer and cream soda, and played COD 2. Afterwards, I took over the Xbox and played Final Fantasy 13. I still love everything about the game, even though my fangirl faze for it was like two years ago or so. The graphics are amazing~

Oh Gawd I luff this game so much! ; A ;

So, that was my weekend, and I would like to thank the Libals for such a wonderful time! And I loved meeting CoolCat. ^u^ Thanks for inviting her.

Love you guys, and stay strong!
